I photograph and film a small number of weddings each year, mostly here in the desert I love. That's deliberate. The couples I work with don't want a factory — they want someone fully paying attention.

I have opinions about light. I'll gently move your grandmother out of the shade. I'll tell you when the champagne tower is going to look better from the left.

What I won't do is make you perform. The best images of your day are the ones you didn't know were being made.
